TC301 Monuments Map

Global & Local Views

This section brings together the monuments referenced and analysed in papers submitted to the TC301 International Symposium, presenting them through two complementary perspectives: a global overview and a focused exploration of Athens.

The Global Monuments Map reflects the international scope of the conference, bringing together case studies from different regions, historical periods, and geotechnical contexts. Each monument featured on the map corresponds directly to at least one submitted paper and is accompanied by a reference to the related contribution. The map functions as a visual index of the monuments discussed within the Symposium, offering geographical context to the research presented.

The Athens Monuments Tour builds on the global map with a deeper, location-specific view, bringing together monuments analysed in TC301 submissions and presenting them as a companion for exploration. It is designed to help participants shape their own visits, based on individual interests, available time, and preferred themes.
